Try RC-Structura for 30 days.

The beta is free. It needs an account, created by hand for each tester: write to us and you will receive your sign-in and password. Your feedback shapes the next version.

Tell us who you are, your country and the code you work to. The account is created by hand; nobody can sign up on their own.

The password reaches you separately. The 30-day trial only starts at your first sign-in: there is no rush between receiving it and the first launch.

2. Download

One file, no installation. It only opens with an account.

Getting started

From download to first calculation

  1. Save RC-Structura.exe wherever you like — the Desktop, Documents — and run it.

    Windows may show "Windows protected your PC": the application is not yet digitally signed. Click More info, then Run anyway.

  2. The Sign in screen opens. Pick the language at the top right (Français / English), then enter the email and password you received.

  3. The first sign-in needs the internet. It starts your 30-day trial, that day included; the end date shows at the bottom of the window.

  4. After that, the application asks for your sign-in each time it opens. Without the internet it still opens for 3 days after your last online sign-in.

  5. Do not turn the computer's clock back: the application notices, and then refuses to open offline.

  6. At the end of the trial the application no longer opens. Your projects (.stproj files) stay on your computer.

Questions

What does the application send over the internet?
Your email and password, to the sign-in server, to check your account and its end date. Nothing else: your projects and calculations never leave your computer.
Why the Windows warning?
Windows warns about any program without a digital signature or a download history yet. The beta is not signed; the SHA-256 hash below lets you check the file is the one published here.
What happens after 30 days?
The application refuses to open and shows the end date and the contact. If you need more time to finish testing, write to us: the trial can be extended. After the beta comes a one-time license.
Can I use it on a real project?
Yes, like any design aid: you check the assumptions and results before you seal. The verification record shows what was compared, and each sheet says what the page does not check.
Mac, Linux?
Not for now: Windows only.
How do I send feedback or report an error?
Write to rcs.structura@gmail.com, with the .stproj file if you can and what you expected. A result that looks wrong to you is exactly what we are looking for.
